Congratulations to Our 7 Judy Boling Memorial Scholarship Winners!

This scholar is named in honor of Judy, who was a dedicated and loyal Chaco employee for many years. She believed in the importance of higher education for youth.

During our Chaco's Annual Meeting, the following young members were awarded Judy Boling Memorial Scholarships.

Each year, the names of six lucky members are announced at Chaco's Annual Meeting. This year, in honor of our 70^th anniversary we chose seven.

The JBM Scholarship is $500 that is deposited into a 12-month Share Certificate, and rolls over until the member attends college. At that time, the proceeds are made payable to the college or higher learning institution of his or her choice. All members between the ages of 0-21 are eligible to win, provided they have an account in their name and the account is in good standing. That's right, all they have to do is become a member. No cumbersome paperwork or application to complete and no essay to write. This is Chaco's way of giving back to the community and helping youth achieve higher education. Two scholarships are awarded in each of three age groups: 7 and under, 8-14 and 15-21.
