Scholarship Money Up for Grabs!
High School Seniors Can Apply to Win a $500 Scholarship

The Butler County Chapter of Credit Unions is awarding scholarship money. To qualify, students must live in Butler County, be at least a high school senior and pursuing a post-secondary education of any kind, including professional, vocational and academic studies not limited to colleges and universities.

The 2009 scholarship packet, which includes the application and essay question, is available at all seven Chaco Credit Union branches or online at www.chacocu.org.

Two $500 scholarships will be awarded on April 1, 2009. The Butler County Chapter of Credit Unions will then send one winner to the statewide scholarship program, sponsored by the Ohio Credit Union Foundation. The Foundation will award five $2,500 scholarships in May.

All applications must be postmarked on or before March 3, 2009.
