Is There Unclaimed Money
with Your Name on It?

Chaco may be holding unclaimed funds that belong to you or a family member. We might have simply lost contact with the account holder – typically due to a name change after marriage or divorce, an unreported change of address, incomplete or illegible records or a clerical error. Or, if an account has gone dormant for a number of years, Chaco is required by law to remit the funds to the protective custody of a government trust until they are claimed.

If you believe that you or a family member has unclaimed funds, please contact Chaco at 785-3500.

To avoid having to reclaim funds that belong to you:

  • Keep your Chaco Credit Union accounts active by making transactions from time to time.
  • Notify us whenever you have changes to your contact information, including your name, address and telephone number.
  • Make a list of your accounts and insurance policies and give a copy to a trusted relative.
