PC Deposit – Deposit Checks from Home!
DCU is proud to announce that we will
be offering another easy way to do
your banking: With new PC Deposit,
you can deposit your checks from
home! Instead of driving to a branch or
mailing in your checks, you can scan
your checks, submit them on PC
Branch, and have funds credited to
your account within 24 hours!
If you use PC Branch, all you need is
a scanner or a printer that can scan or
copy documents connected to your
computer. Many are available for
under $100. (An easy-to-use tutorial
will be available to you if you need
help setting up your scanner and
subsequent drivers).
In only a few steps, you can quickly
and easily deposit your checks from
your home PC to DCU (after the initial
set-up of PC Deposit):
Make sure the back of the check is
endorsed with your signature, DCU
Member number, the account number
where you'll deposit the funds, and the
phrase "For Deposit Only."
Log in to PC Branch and select
"PC Deposit."
Choose the account you would like
the check(s) to be deposited to.
Enter the amount of the check(s)
you'd like to deposit. Then, using
your own scanner, simply scan the front
and back of the check and click the
submit button. An email will be sent
to you once your deposit has been
submitted for review and processing.
After you receive
that email (usually within
24 hours), you must
write VOID on the check
and destroy the check.
That's it – your check
has been deposited without
you having to leave the comfort of
your own home! The image of your
deposited check will be available in
PC Deposit account history.
PC Deposit will be available
to qualified members through
PC Branch and is easy to use!
Once this service is live, you
can check it out by logging
into PC Branch at dcu.org.
