The Ease of Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit is an electronic deposit to
your account from a third party pre-arranged
by you. It can be one time or recurring.
Direct Deposit is commonly used for payroll,
Social Security, and pension payments. It is
also used for investment dividends and tax
refunds.
Speed – The funds are in your account and
ready to use on payday – up to two days
before at DCU!
Convenience – You don't have to visit an ATM
or branch to deposit your check.
Safety – You don't have to be concerned
about your check being lost or stolen.
Easier saving – Building your long-term
savings is easier because it goes into your
account before it touches your hands.
Set Up Direct Deposit Today
Talk with your employer's payroll department.
You'll need to provide your checking account
cross-reference number – the middle set
of numbers (eight digits) on the bottom of
your checks. Also provide DCU's routing and
transit number (211391825). For simplicity,
give your employer a voided personal check
from the account in which you want to
receive the funds. Your check contains all
the information they need. For more details,
