THREE POSITIONS OPEN ON BOARD OF DIRECTORS
As a member/owner of Deer Valley Credit Union, you have a unique opportunity to elect volunteer directors each year. You can vote for directors at the Annual Meeting or 10 days prior to the meeting at any branch location. We have seven directors, of which three 3-year term positions will be elected in the first quarter of 2009. Members interested in serving as a director and contributing to the overall direction of the Credit Union may submit their name and qualifications to the Nominating Committee by Jan. 20, 2009. The board meets at the Credit Union on a monthly basis in the morning for a few hours.
Members not chosen by the nominating committee to run for a board position have the option of submitting a petition with the signatures of 209 eligible Credit Union members to the secretary of the Credit Union. Credit Union election procedures do not provide for nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting, so that absentee ballots and voting in the credit union are possible.
