2008 Member Survey Results
We would like to extend our thanks to those members who took the time to respond to our latest member survey. Your feedback is invaluable and will help us to evaluate the services we offer and address your needs in the years to come.
The survey was conducted in late summer and completed by 1,130 DVCU members. Here are some highlights:
Service Satisfaction
We pride ourselves in caring about our members and giving them the attention they deserve to make good decisions about their money. This is appreciated by members. 97.3% are either satisfied or extremely satisfied with the service they get from us. In fact, about one in five members said their satisfaction with our service increased in the past year.
Friendly, Helpful Staff and Competitive Rates
Members said we were substantially better than other financial institutions in terms of friendliness of staff, prompt resolution of problems and availability of employees to answer questions. Members rated us better than other financial institutions for our competitive loan rates. In all other criteria, members rated us at least as high as our competitors, and in no case did they rate us below the competition.
Almost a third of our members are willing to drive more than five miles to one of our branches in order to be a DVCU member. More than half of our members live within five miles of one of our branches.
You Asked, We Responded
Several members have requested that we improve our remote banking site, and we listened. Based on your input we have made the site more user-friendly, and added useful resources along with an updated design. You'll notice these changes when you visit the site in the coming months, and we hope you will approve!
