Spring 2007

Whether you dream of starting a business, developing a newsletter for your neighborhood or building a skate park in your town, even the biggest dreams can come true with hard work and a little help from your friends.

Reaching your goals isn't always easy. But the following
tips can help you turn your great ideas into reality.

Define the project. Get focused. You can research
your idea online or at the library. Make a list of all of the
reasons your idea is worth doing.

Make a plan. Figure out what you'll need to do to
make your big idea happen. For example, if you want
to organize a car wash to benefit your favorite charity,
you'll need to find a spot, ask people to help you, make
signs and decide how much to charge.

Get support. Next, ask for help from friends, parents and
teachers. Having a lot of people involved can give your idea even
more power.

Don't give up. Most things worth having don't come easily.
But if you stay focused on your goal, you can do anything. Your
savings account is a great place to start stashing cash to make
your dreams come true.
