Nomination by Petition
The credit union bylaws allow nominations for positions on the 2008 election ballot to be made by petition. You will need to complete the following steps by Feb. 4, 2008, to become a candidate.

  • Submit a petition signed by 1% of the Credit Union's membership (270 members)
  • Submit a brief statement of qualifications and biographical information
  • Submit a signed certificate stating that you are agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected to office
Announcing Election Results
Election results will be announced at the Credit Union's 80th Annual Meeting on April 1, 2008. An official election will not be conducted by ballot in 2008 as long as there remains only one nominee for each position to be filled and no additional candidate is nominated by petition.
