UHSCU Memorial Scholarships

For many years our memorial scholarships have honored Al Kiser, a long-time member who served on the Credit Committee in the late 1970s. We are now expanding these scholarships to also honor Chris Tollackson, who served on our Supervisory Committee, the Board of Directors and finally as the credit union's Chief Financial Officer from 1999 until his passing on Jan. 8, 2006. Chris is missed by members and staff alike.

In Al and Chris' honor, the Board has authorized four $1,000 college scholarships to be issued to our credit union members for the 2007-2008 school year. Applications are available on our Web site or can be picked up at either of our locations. To be considered, applications must be completed and received by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2007. All applicants will be notified of the results by April 30.
