Wings Financial offers the largest surcharge-free ATM network in the country. That's right, we have 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs across the country to use with your Wings Financial Visa® Check Card. How, you might ask, did a credit union based in Minnesota with 17 branches end up with the largest surcharge-free ATM network in the country?
The answer is simple. We planned it. Yes, it is our goal to continue to make Wings Financial as easy to use as possible. We realize that we won't ever have branch locations on every corner but we can do things to make Wings an easy place to do business in an automated manner. The addition of 32,000 ATMs to our surcharge-free network is just one example of that.
We've also made our surcharge-free ATMs easier to find. If you go to the Wings Financial Web site and click on "ATM Locations," you'll find our brand new ATM locator. You can enter a city and state or a ZIP code and be presented with a map of the nearest ATMs to your location. You can even send a text message of these locations to your cell phone so you don't have to write all of the locations down.
In mid-2007, Wings Financial introduced a new service called Remote Deposit. With Remote Deposit, you can deposit checks into your account from your home computer and receive immediate credit for the deposit. You then simply mail the checks to Wings Financial for processing.
Better (and More) Locations
Even though we've been spending time and effort on improving automated access
to Wings Financial, we've also been working on our branch network. By the time
you read this, our branches in Seattle and Honolulu will have been relocated to
much more convenient locations. In Seattle, we're relocating within our current
building directly across from Sea-Tac Airport. We'll maintain our drive-through
service but our office will now be located on the first level of the building with
parking right next to our front door. In Honolulu, we are moving to a new, larger
office right on airport property. In addition to these office relocations, we'll be
opening our first-ever office in New York City later this year.
The combination of our large ATM network, Remote Deposit and an expanding branch network is a powerful one. It means that you can have virtually full access to your Wings Financial account from anywhere at any time. It's one reason why we feel that Wings Financial is America's most convenient credit union.
